Arrival and parking
The boatyard is at Rothschild Road, Linslade, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, LU7 2TF. Plan to arrive from 1.30pm for your handover; if you expect to be later than 3pm, call 01525 372355. Car parking is included in boat hire.
Do your food shopping before arriving. The directions guide says luggage can be left at the yard after 11am if you need room in the car.
What to pack
- Food for your first day, personal items and medication.
- Soft bags, waterproof clothing, soft-soled non-slip shoes and your phone charger.
- Your own bath towels where possible. Medium bath towels can be requested; overseas guests should read their specific checklist.
Bedding, tea towels, oven gloves, bathroom hand towels and basic cleaning materials are provided. Read the full checklist for packing advice and items that cannot be brought aboard.
